| | am- 75 minute long run this morning w 1,2,3,3,2,1 minute pickups and 2*200s at the end. been feeling really good lately and the runs have been seeming easy but today my legs were pretty tired. plus me and ry and jewels were so sore from balling it up in pickleball on Saturday haha. good run nonetheless. 9.15mi PM- 20 minutes. ran w ry and just took it easy. had a nutrition lady talk with us prior to the run. she was swag and had some swag stuff to say. 2.5mi idrk | Comments(3) |

| | am- 20 easy with a small crew. plyos after pm- workout!! headed to heritage park since we were on lightning alert so we couldn't stay by the school. 15 warm up, last 5 at easy tempo, then 1*1:30 @ 3k pace w/ equal recovery. then 1*10:00 @ 5k pace + 20 seconds so mine was like 6:10-15ish. 3 min recovery on that and then 2*1:30min at 3k to finish it up. 20 minutes of cool after to get to 60 minutes. workout felt really good today. my legs felt suuuuper tired before we started but they always seem to feel better when I go faster and faster. led the girls and tried to help keep the pack together by doing roll call and stuff. packing was better but we still have a lot to work on. pleased with my 1:30s cuz it proves to myself that I do have speed, along with endurance, even tho I dont usually think I'm that "fast". good workout and lots of positive things happening also I went to young womens AND did homework and that's something you don't see very often. good day haha | Add Comment |
| | am- weights and 15 minutes easy pm- 45 easy with the vars crew and then went over to the jv race. team did prettyy good today went to the football game later cuz I havent gone to one all year haha. I only went cuz it was western themed and I looked hashtag swagggg but it was fun. the game was kinda boring cuz we killed the other team but miles got to play and I had people tell me I should be a cheerleader next year so I'd say it was worth my time haha | Comments(4) |
| | am- 20 easy and yoga pm- workout! 10 warm and at easy tempo.then right into 4*2:45 minutes at 3k pace. short, fast things are harder for me but I've been getting better at them. pushed a little at the end. that's my fav part, feeling like you cant go any faster but then opening up an extra space for you to push into and proving go yourself that you CAN go faster. 4 minutes in between all of them and then headed over to the track and did 4*200m. 15 minutes of cool after. | Add Comment |

pm- REGION CROSS!!! 10 or 15 warm idk and then the race!! started off strong cuz I like to race at the front the whole time. led the whole race and when bailey and sam started to gain, like they usually do. I kept pushing and didnt give up. sometimes I notice myself settling when they are catching up but today those thoughts left immediately after they entered my brain. they kept gaining on me like the whole time haha but I wasn't giving up today. then my the final loop, prolly like 300 meters or something, they were right next to me. almost all the schools there were rooting for me and it was actually the coolest thing, everybody was cheering soooo loud. I stuck right next to sam and whenever she tried to pass me i pushed and stayed in there (plus I was like "i led the whole entire race I cant loose in the last 100m cuz that would be sad" haha). probably had my best finish ever so that was cool haha. swag jess is the region 9 champ :) also I dont think my form sucked that bad so I'm muy happy about that

| | am- 20 easy pm- 45 easy and weights after. chilled quite a bit today and just talked with ry. feelin pretty good after racing yesterday which is dope cuz I usually get suuuuuuper sore. ooh guess what. I learned a hymn on the piano and played a duet with Ethan in seminary. I havent ever played in seminary before and I've been playin since kindergarten and just never learned hymns. any way that was cool haha. also seņor got mad at me for singing in his class today. then I started singing hymns and that made it worse lol. | | am- 50 on the Sullivan trail. kept it real chill like coach said to. good recovery run and were ready to kill it next week!! oh fun story for ya. last night me and brook noticed that that part of the floor in our bedroom was kinda wet, then we realized all of the floor was soaking wet lol. my mom and dad came down and we starting hauling everything out of my room we had to take apart my bed our dressers the bookcase, everything. then we ripped up the carpet and discovered the the floor had tons of water everywhere. and we still dont know exactly how it got there haha. my mom ran the carpet cleaner over it like a billion times and got like 20+ gallons of water off the floor. then my room was an empty concrete room and now there are ginormous fans in it trying to dry the floor and walls and stuff. luckily nick and alex are moved out cuz were crashing in their room for awhile. that's all haha hope you enjoyed my cool story | Add Comment |

pm- state! i was super excited and then super nervous and then super excited again haha. got a good start with al and then didnt know what to do. i wasnt supposed to kill the first mile so i backed off a little and that was a huuuuuuuge mistake. i shouldve been a little reserved like coach said but not back off as much as i did. also my legs felt so so tired the whole time. today was just not my day. also the front group all basically ran the race alone so that didnt help. i like to race alone sometimes but only if im alone by myself haha. girls ended 2nd which we beat ourselves up about at first but once we looked at the bigger picture we realized that even though it wasnt what we wanted, 2nd at state is pretty dang good. congrats to al for balling it up and beating my school record and to the boys cuz theyre state champs!! also s/o to my brother @xctrackjewels for being an INDIVIDUAL STATE CHAMP!!! thats so freakin dope. following in nicks footsteps :')) haha. i love my team and we gave it our all. we all tried our very best we could for today and i couldnt be prouder <33

pm- sandhill!! i was excited for this but also not cuz its really really hard. made it up in 10:46 and down in 6:24. new record for me for the uphill but not for the down lol. the down was really hard today cuz there were footprints and i kept rollin my ankles and tripping every step haha. 1st girl up and down as well with the baker sisters and then holt sisters right behind! everybody did real good today! pushed as hard as i could and it was a good ol time.

I made myself a nice weber singlet, it's very swag. me and ry are the only ones that participate but it's still swaggyyyyy. also workout Wednesday. 10 warm, 5 easy tempo, 7*3minutes at 3k, 5k, 8k, 5k, 8k, 5k, 3k pace with equal recovery. I've been really sore and tired this week and i thought this was gonna be soooo hard but it was just sorta hard and sorta easy. good workout and good pack and good day k bye oh 10 cool after. k peace out yallllll who remembers back in the day when I would get 300+ viewers on my blog?? | | am- weights and a baby run pm- easy run. FINALLY CHILLED haha. I love going fast on every run even when people get mad at me and I do it quite often. however, this past week I've been soooo sore and my legs have been soooo tired. robs said we just need to learn how to chill. today i decided i was not gonna kill it and dont get me wrong we def still had a good pace but we took it down a notch and finally recovered a little haha. me and ry tried to catch some lizards but missed um #bumma. went my very least favorite run ever but today I was actually positive about it and it was aight. | Add Comment |
