| | so basically, haven't been on here for awhile but i needed to document.
am- long run 80 mins
pm- mr pvhs root beer mile to raise money for a cute lil boy with cancer. basically you run 4 laps and have to drink a root beer before each lap. last year was my first year finishing (barely) and i puked 3 times. this year i was in the lead for 2 laps and then after my 3rd rootbeer i puked like twice and then ran again. with 100m to go, on my 4th and final lap, i pulled over into the rocks to puke 5 more times. then i finished in 2nd with a time like 15 minutes faster then last year lol. we had soooo many people come out and watch and we raised a lot of money for the swag lil kid so it was real good.
also got to update my blog with a few prs and such and had to erase my sr xc goals cuz its #over. hs goes fast bro

| | am- weights and dance practice (for the mr PVHS assembly we have to dance in it and our dance is freakin dope)
pm- 40 minute trail run. Trails really hurt my legs but we talked about vacations and roller coasters and stuff the whole time and it was fun.
Then after me and ness drove up to cedar for the basketball game and it was very fun

| | pm- 15 minute warm up including 5 at easy tempo and then 6*800m @ 88% so like 1:30-1:34 second laps. Idk why but the workout was sooooo hard today. Like we hit all of our times and stuff but it was rough by the 3rd rep. Then like 10 cool after

| | Am- 60 minutes on suicidal. It was quite possibly the worst run of all time but it's fine lol. Lots of shin pain and back pain and everything so that was that
Went bowling w ness and Mitch later and bowled a 136 which isn't that good but it's a new high score so I was pumped haha

pm- 15 warm and 3*1600m @ like 1:34 - 1:37 laps. Probably the best workout all year. Long reps are my fav. First mile was pretty easy and coach ran the last 2 with me. Last mile was a lil tough but me and coach were talking and all the sudden it was over. 10 cool after and iced

| | Pm- 40ish minutes I think into Middleton. Felt alright. Was running with the team but a few of us stopped to go to the bathroom and only a few waited so ran back with a smaller group. Good run tho

pm- 6 minute test. Got left somehow so 20 warm by myself and then the 6 minute test and like a 15 minute cool. 6 minute test wasn't bad but wasn't that good either. Wasn't able to run it last time tho so ig anything is an improvement haha
Today was the mr PVHS assembly and it was so scary I felt as nervous as I get for races all morning but it wasn't that bad. Did a group dance and then a dance with ness brook and pyper after that a catwalk in my activewear and then question and answer in fancy clothes haha. Kinda sketch but fun also. Our school raised $31,500 for a lil 4 year old boy with cancer in our community and it was like the dopest thing ever

pm- 45ish minutes on an elliptical with ness. The trainer said we needa cross train like once a week so we did just that. We went ham and it was pretty hard haha. Pretty sure I broke some records with my 2 miles in 8 minutes lol

| | hello everyone, been gone for a sec but this needed to be documented.
first, and this isnt todays story but i fake graduated the other day and i accidentally stood on the stage for like a year bc i thought my mom was taking a picture not a video so rip. buttttttt roberts got to announce my name and i was so happy and also glad he said my real name istead of jessica roger hill haha
ok well today i was finally freed to go on a few person social distancing run with jason and jenessa so yay cuz i havent done anything for a month and a half lol. we went out into werner valley where me and jason like to run occasionally and we drove way far out to this cool lil trail that jason showed us (don't worry we were in seperate cars ;)) we were walking and talking before we started our run and all walking in a line with me first. and about 50 meters in i said dang it would be so cool to see a rattle snake (because jason saw one last time he went and although i live in the desert ive never ever seen one) and i kid u not, 10 seconds after i said that i heard the scariest rattle of my whole life and boom rattle snake and i screamed and jumped as far away as i could. and yes i know youre not supposed to do that lol. it was a sidewinder jason said so it side slithered and rattled as it backed into a bush. we sat and watched it for a sec and we saw it smell with its tounge. we then looked where my footprints were and saw the snake marks and i had been standing about 3 feet away from it #sketch. so basically good thing we weren't running yet or i 100% woulda stepped on it. after watching it for a sec we continued on our path and i said imagine if we saw another one haha. it had been about 3 minutes from seeing the first one. this time jason was in front and i kid u not a second time. not even 20 seconds after i said that, boom! another snake rattling at us. i screamed again and this one sidewinded into a different bush. also scary stuff bc this one was kind of hidden in the dirt right on the trail and once again, had we already been running, jason woulda stepped on this one. right after that we decided we better not ask to see another one because apparently God was giving us whatever we asked for at that moment haha. Then we got scared and tip toed back to the road trail thing and ran there and didn't see anymore. basically we came up with a plan for if one of us got bit and it was the scariest awesomest thing i ever saw.

| | am- basically i left my watch at home. rookie mistake i know. any way went out and ran on a road in leeds and it was pretty chill. really windy at first but it felt good. also my leg hurt really bad the whole time tho cuz yesterday i was stepping on a chair to get on the tramp and my leg went right through it and i broke the chair and now my leg is all scratched and bruised #bumma

| | pm- 25 on the bike and then a 30 minute run by myself. slowly coming back from muscle tears in both of my calves. i legit have nothing to do bc I'm like done with school and i remembered how much i love blogging so that's why I'm here again lol.
30 on lower and back through the golf course and i didn't get lost and I'm #proud. also did it the fastest ive ever done it so that's just swell
