Back to blogging! Finally got a Garmin for my birthday so now I can track my mileage! I went for a run with my dad around the neighborhood. It was pretty hard because of the heat but it felt good besides that and we kept a pretty good pace. (We were trying to catch the random dude running in front of us).

Longest run ever for me! I was just going to go 50 minues but then I decided to go 60, however nobody was going back at 60 minutes and I didn't want to get kidnapped on the way back so I went 83 minutes and did pick ups with all of the girls. It acually felt pretty good and I was surprised that I could go that far. Alex told me at the begining of the summer that I would be able to do long runs like that it no time but I didn't believe him. I guess I can now though so that is good.

Dang girl! Nice job; you really should be looking to be doing level 2 stuff more often (even if it is at the lower end) and then throw in an easier level 1 on occasion if you really need a break.

am-4.5 miles. 15 minutes on the road and 15 grass run with 8 striders after. I felt really good which was surprising because I thought I was going to die after our run yesterday. Really small group today so for kids club I was going to be all alone coaching a whole bunch of little girls. Luckily coach sent over julien and Jordan to help me out but some of the girls were still very tough and very sassy.

am- ran into Hell's Hole and did the Sullivan trail. I felt good and it smelled really good in the canyon. I started to fall off the group (the group being me, Rylee, Sylvia, Brianna, and coach) a little bit at the end but then I caught up and stuck with them the rest of the way. I went about 44 minutes and 5 miles. Good day.

Ran 15 minutes on road 15 on grass with striders. It felt really good. After we had the last kids club and the little girls were still as sassy as always (except some, some are good). I ran the little girls race with Elin and she is a beast. She got 2nd overall and took 1st out of the 1st graders. Then I ran the last lap of the older girls race with brook. She did super dope and i think she got 5th overall and 2nd out of the 6th graders. Then we listened to some of the girls complain about not getting a ribbon, passed out shirts, then passed out certificates for the kids who completed their marathon this summer and listened to some of the girls complain about not getting a certificate. But kids club was still super dope and so was my run.

Great day today! We had our first time trial today (a 2 mile one) which I was pretty nervous but excited about because it was my first time racing with the team and being on it. We had an AWESOME pack, better on the first lap but we stayed in that pack for quite a bit until we spread a bit at the end when we started to finish. The whole team did GREAT! I felt good on the first lap and stuck with the pack. On the second lap I was getting really tired but I kept going. Then with about 300 meters left I felt like I was going to puke, and I did about 7 times all over me (sorry if it got on you rylee). oh and coach was taking pictures of us right when I was puking so... Then I finished right with rylee (she finished before tho). It was my fastest time and my first time puking during a race. Two great accomplishments. Pretty good day and great job to everyone.

My first high school race! Also my first 5k! I stuck with the front and even got to lead the race for a second. I ended up getting 2nd on the team and 7th overall. I got 19:53 and felt great the whole time!

Ran up pine valley mountain today for renegade camp! Very hard on the way up but well worth it. You could see everything from the top. The way down was way fun. I did fall once it was within the first mile of the run when it was still flat and not rocky! It was also my longest and furthest run. We found wild raspberries and a dead deer that looked like it was attacked by a cougar! Dope run and dope experience! Glad I got to do it with my team!

Desert relays today. My team was me first than Elle and then Rylee. We got third overall. The girls and boys both won over d-hells which was dope.

8pm- went over to the high school and started our run a thon I didn't fall asleep but I almost did on the track lol. Finally made it through my first all nighter which was dope. Finally got home at 8:30am and went straight to bed.

am- 75minute long run this morning @5:30. Ran up sunrise tire hill and down foremaster then finished up on the river trail and did pick ups. Felt alright. I was hurting in my knee and ankle but then it stopped so that was good.

pm- 20 minutes easy towards green springs then had a meeting after. It 'twas dope.

Dope race today at SUU! First varsity race as well! Stayed at the front leading the race with Rylee and Josie. Before the race my knee was hurting soooooo bad but Josie gave me some ibuprofen type stuff and then it felt great, but then it hurt again after lol. Ended up getting 18:47 improved my time by like a minute and 6 seconds, and got 3rd overall. Girls won over desert hells with 32-34 I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) and boys got second to d-hells. Anyway dope race and great job to everybody!

Also shout out to my dope mom cuz it's her b-day!

am-long run @5;30. my knee hurt but it was good. ran up sunrise tire hill, down foremaster, and then onto the river trail. we finished up with a little hill work out on the hill next to 2450 park. the hills felt pretty good and strong, it was dope.

pm-52 minute run. went about 5.75 miles, no more knee pain which is super dope. ran into washington towards hells hole, but not into it. it was super dope and it felt great.

pm- freakin hard work out at the dirt mile but it was super dope. started out with like a 15 minute warm up and then 4 striders. then we tempoed for 20 minutes. for the most part our pack was pretty good. i was feeling pretty good but i was so tired so i was gonna bow out at about 15 minutes but then realized i could do more and i owed it to my team cuz they were working super hard too. finished up with a cool down and then headed home.

epic race today. Murray invite. Ran varsity and ended up getting 19th overall, 1st on our team and our team got 3rd after AF and Davis. It was so beast. Oh and the course looked so scary and hard but it was like the funnest race I've ever done. Great job everybody.

pm-4, 1200 repeats at BHNP. My legs were very very very tired, but it felt good. Wonderful 1st one! Faster then my target time. 2nd one right on target time. 3rd one was a few seconds slow. 4th one was back on target time.(target time=4:48) I think we did a pretty good job packing and good job to Jacey for absolutely dominating that last repeat! Also I found another tennis ball and... Me and Caroline worked very hard and finally got the whole baseball we found yesterday torn apart and got the little bouncy ball out. It was very fun.

Dope race today at the cedar invite! Got to run 9 girls in the varsity race which was dope! Ended up getting 3rd overall after bailey brinkerhoff and mic webster. Got my fastest time of the year 18:00.0 which is a good and bad thing. Good thing=i got a pr. bad thing = i missed breaking 18 minutes by a millisecond. but super glad about this race. girls did way awesome. we got first and had our best race as a team for the year so far. Good job to everybody that raced!

met at 5:20 today for our run. pretty good run. me rylee ellie and jacey ran back together and were freaking out. we saw some halloween decorations that were people and they looked real they were very very scary and we screamed. hopefully we didn't wake anybody up from screaming so loudly. 

after our run we went and volenteered for the stg marathon. it was dope. our station had cups everywhere and even though it was messy, it was a cool mess. it went very well.
